SKIP2BFIT

Today the whole school took part in Skip2Bfit workshops with John. He talked to us first of all about the benefits of keeping fit and how skipping is an excellent way of building our stamina.  Using special skipping ropes with counters, we practised our skipping skills before taking on a 2 minute skipping challenge to music.  After recording our scores and thinking about how we could improve our original scores, we took part once again in the 2 minute challenge.  Most of us were able to improve on our original scores and are now set to take on the 6 week challenge to improve our fitness.

The day culminated with a whole school assembly where certificates were given out to the top scorers in each class and the top teacher.
