Y4 sign off with a day of fun and games!

The class rounded off a fantastic Year 4 with a day of board games, LEGO, cards, a film and rocket lollies! It was lovely to see them playing so nicely and enjoying each other’s company one last time before the summer break.

Well done, we look forward to seeing each other again in September!

Children earn their dough with Roman baking!

Year 4 rounded off their Romans topic for the Summer term by learning all about the diet of the Romans before making spelt bread. Mixing spelt flour with salt and mixing well, they then added olive oil and water to make their dough. After kneading it into a circular shape they then put it into the oven for 45 minutes to bake before slicing it up and tasting it! Yum!

Y3’s Dino Day Out

The children enjoyed a well-earned and long-overdue day out at Wollaton Park ! After spending time playing in the adventure park, they visited the new T Rex Is King exhibition in Wollaton Hall. The rest of the afternoon was spent playedin games. It was so nice to spend time outside of school together!

Dinosaurs and zip lines for Y4 trip!

The children enjoyed a well-earned and long-overdue day out at Wollaton Park in the sunshine on Wednesday. After spending time playing in the park, they visited the new T Rex Is King exhibition in Wollaton Hall before lunch and played games on the grass afterwards.

Y4 make sweet music at home… hmmm!

The children in Year 4 have been busy recording their own sounds at home using household objects. Given the brief to record a variety of sounds of varying volume and pitch, the children recorded the decibel level and then sent in their efforts as part of our current Science topic. Year 3’s Wellness Day

What a fantastic day! Year 3 rounded off another busy week with a jam-packed day of  wellness activities! We began the day with a healthy breakfast of yoghurt and berries. We then went off to the field for Sports Day where they took part in sprint, egg and spoon and obstacles races. The day also included time on the climbing frame focusing on their core strength,  journal writing with Mrs Moss and mindfullness colouring.

YEAR 4 rounded off another busy week with a jam-packed day of activities! Top of the bill was sports day where they took part in sprint, egg and spoon and obstacles races, the day also included time on the climbing frame in the hall,  journal writing with Mrs Moss, teamwork games on the playground and meditation.
