YEAR 4 spent the afternoon with our chaplain, Issie, looking in more detail at their current topic, Called. After introducing the topic, the children discussed, as a class, times they have been called before taking part in an activity to assess where they thought they would be in 1, 5, 10 and 20 years’ time.
They followed this with a session looking at the sacrament of confirmation and passages of scripture where people have received a calling before examining the prayer of St Teresa and its deeper meaning. Finally, on a human template, they recorded how they can experience different types of callings.
