Year 4 rounded off a day of science fun with a visit from the Sublime Science team in the hall.

After testing balloon rockets, the children all learned about the absorbent properties of polymer and how to squeeze a water balloon into a glass flask using a wooden splint and a flame.

They returned to class ready to use ingredients to make their own slime and sherbet.
