Today the year 1 children took part in their first Forest School session. They had a fantastic time, which was enjoyed by all.  First, we established boundaries by playing the call and response game ‘1,2,3, where are you?” and played a game of trust and team building called ‘Bat and Moth’.  The children listened to the story of the ‘Stick Man’ and reflected of the Journey the stick man went on. The children then created their own journey sticks, and adding natural resources they found during their journey around the outdoors.  Last of all, the children came together to have a drink and biscuit, while reflecting on their journey sticks.
